Ultrasonic flowwrapper FUW3400/B α8 can contribute to the SDGs.
By evolving its "sealing technology" and incorporating an ultrasonic horn and anvil into a conventional horizontal flowwrapper, film welding has been achieved.
Product Features
- The sealing area does not heat up, so there is little thermal impact on the product or film.
The "ultrasonic heating seal" generates ultrasonic waves only at the moment of sealing, and seals the film using ultrasonic vibrations, so the sealing area does not heat up, making it effective for packaging lines that have a lot of standby time, and for packaging products that are sensitive to heat, such as chocolate and candy. - Energy saving (35% power saving compared to conventional machines)
Compared to conventional heat sealing machines, it is possible to reduce power consumption by approximately 35% (compared to conventional heat sealing methods: 947wh → 618wh). There is also no need for warm-up power after turning on the power, which contributes to reducing packaging materials and CO2 emissions. - Improved product finish of the sealed part
By using line sealing, the product finish of the sealed part is improved. In addition, it is now possible to use films (single film/mono-material packaging materials) that were difficult to use with the heat sealing method, which also contributes to the SDGs. - Reducing the amount of film used by shortening the cutting pitch
By reducing the area of the sealed area by using line sealing, it is possible to achieve a cutting pitch of -10 mm per bag. This shortens the end seal width and contributes to reducing packaging material costs. - Since there is no heat source, the risk of workers getting burned is reduced. Since there is no heat source like a heat sealer, the risk of workers getting burned during maintenance is reduced.
